Former MLA Gurez allegedly shoots self in Srinagar

A former Ex-MLA Faqir Mohammad Khan shot himself dead in Tulsibagh area Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Thursday.

Police sources told news agency JKNS that former MLA Gurez Faqir Mohammad Khan allegedly shot himself at Tulsibagh Srinagar at his quarter on Thursday.

They said that Khan succumbed before taking him to the hospital, however, the reasons behind taking this extreme step weren’t immediately known.

Meanwhile, police have started an investigation in this regard.—(JKNS)
