Four militants have been killed during an encounter between militants and government forces in Badigam area of Zainapora belt of south Kashmir’s Shopian district.
Earlier An official told The Kashmiriyat that on Thursday afternoon 44RR of Indian Army, Jammu Kashmir Police and CRPF launched a joint launched a cordon and search operation in the Badigam area of Shopian.
During the cordon, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, triggering off a gunfight, he said
Four militants associated to Lashkar e Taiba have been killed during the encounter, who are yet to be identified.
As per the latest report, a search operation is going on.
