Four militants, three OGWs arrested in North Kashmir, Were planning to conduct major strike: DIG North Kashmir

The Government forces on Saturday claimed to have arrested four Al-Badr militants and three militant associated in two separate operations in North Kashmir.

The forces said that war-like ammunition, cash worth Rs 3 lakh was also recovered from the possession of the arrested.

Addressing a press conference at Rafiabad in north Kashmir on Saturday, Udaya Bhaskar- the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) North Kashmir Udhaya Bhaskar said that the module was planning to conduct a major attack.

He said that upon receiving inputs, the forces 9ncluding Army, Police and CRPF arrested four militants and three Over Ground Workers (OGWs).

The DIG also said that so far during the investigation it was been revealed that the arrested were in touch with a Pakistani handler Yusuf Balochi aka Khursheed Ahmad a resident of South Kashmir’s Anantnag- presently in Pakistan.
