A fire broke out at the Dudkuchan area of D.K Marg in Noorabad of Kugam district in South Kashmir on Sunday.
An official told The Kashmiriyat that four residential houses were gutted in a major fire incident in the Dudkuchan area of Kulgam.
The fire broke out from one of the residential houses and spread to the other nearby structures, he said.
Fire tenders and locals tried to douse off the flames, but they failed to do so before four residential houses had been gutted completely.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
