A video of LG Manoj Sinha has gone viral on social media in which he can be heard stating that Mahatma Gandhi had no degree.
“It is a lie mostly told to the educated people of India that Mahatma Gandhi had a degree in Law, however, he had no degree,” the LG of the Jammu Kashmir administration is heard saying in the video.
Did you know he did not have a single university degree or qualification? His only qualification was a high school diploma. He qualified to practise law. He had no degree, just look at how qualified he was that he became the father of the nation, LG Manoj Sinha said, while delivering keynote address for Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Memorial Lecture at ITM, Gwalior.
LG Manoj Sinha even said that he can prove his claims.
Sinha’s statement comes just a day after Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and asked if it is possible for a less-educated PM to build a 21st–century India.
The video is being widely criticized on social media and many have even asked the LG to stop reading from the “Whatsapp university”
