The Jammu Kashmir government on Wednesday announced several transfers and postings of JKAS officers and medical personnel with immediate effect.
According to an official order, Haris Ahmad Handoo, JKAS, previously serving as Special Secretary in the office of the Chief Secretary, has been transferred and appointed as Special Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Secretariat.
Reyaz Ahmad Wani, JKAS, formerly Additional Secretary in the J&K Services Selection Board, has been posted as OSD/Private Secretary to the Chief Minister.
In a related development, the Health and Medical Education (H&ME) Department has deployed four doctors to the Chief Minister’s residences and MLA Hostels in Jammu and Srinagar.
Dr. Maninder Singh, Medical Officer at PHC Kanachak, is now posted at the Chief Minister’s Residence in Jammu, while Dr. Hilal Ahmad Rather, Medical Officer at SDH Kralpora, is assigned to the Chief Minister’s Residence in Srinagar.
Similarly, Dr. Aaqib Manzoor, previously on deputation to the ESI Dispensary Digiyana,
Jammu, has been posted to the MLA Hostel in Jammu. Dr. Asif Ali Baldev, Medical Officer at District Hospital Ramban, has been transferred to the MLA Hostel in Srinagar.
Waseem Choudhary, who was working as a Translator in the Directorate of Tribal Affairs, has been moved to the Cell of Records for the erstwhile J&K Legislative Council under the Department of Law, Justice & Parliamentary Affairs.
Khursheed Ahmad Shalla, previously serving as Head Assistant in the Directorate of Prosecution, has been transferred to the Election Department.
Other notable transfers include Nisar Ahmad Magray, a Reporter from the Urdu Coordination Cell, who is now posted to the Central Registry Unit in Srinagar. Firdaus Manzoor Khan, a Senior Assistant, and Liyaqat Ali, also a Senior Assistant, have both been transferred to the Central Registry Unit, Srinagar and Jammu, respectively.
Jasmeet Singh, previously a Book Lifter at the Directorate of Tribal Affairs, has also been reassigned to the Central Registry Unit in Jammu.
Additionally, Haris Majeed, who was working as a Photostat Assistant at the J&K Public Service Commission, is now posted at the Central Registry Unit in Srinagar.
Preetam Dass, another employee from the erstwhile J&K Legislative Council, has been reassigned to the Office of the Advocate General in J&K.
Riyaz Ahmad Sheikh, formerly an Orderly, and Tariq Ahmad Gupkari, MTS, from the Directorate of Tribal Affairs, have both been transferred to the Office of the Advocate General and the Transport Department, respectively.
Other personnel transferred include Nisar Ahmad Malla, MTS, from the Directorate of Sericulture, who has now been posted to the School Education Department, and Tanveer Ahmad Malik, MTS, from the J&K Services Selection Board, who has been transferred to the Science & Technology Department under the Mission Directorate, RUSA.
The order specifies that all these medical officers are deemed relieved from their current postings immediately.
