At least five Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel and a policeman were injured in a grenade attack in Arwani area of South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag)district on Saturday.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that the forces were being withdrawn from Hassanpora area of Arwani after clashes during a search operation when a grenade was hurled upon them by unknown persons.
The explosion caused minor injuries to five CRPF personnel and a cop of Jammu Kashmir Police who were immediately rushed to sub-district hospital Bijbehara for treatment.
