Suspected Militants on Saturday evening hurled a grenade at the residence of Surrendar Singh of Padibal area of Devar village of Tral township in Pulwama district.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that grenade was hurled at the residence of Panch Candidate namely Surinder Singh of Padibal, in Devar Tral on Saturday evening.
The grenade landed inside the house and exploded without causing any loss of life or damage.
“The grenade hurled at the residence of Surrendar Singh but it missed the target” an Police official told The Kashmiriyat.
Army’s 42 Rashtriya Rifles and J&K police rushed to the spot and conducted searches to nab the assailants.
The searches were going on when this report was being filed.
