On Wednesday, the armies of India and Pakistan exchanged gunfire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch sector of Jammu division.
In an official statement issued to The Kashmiriyat, the officials said that in Qasba, Kirni and other areas of Poonch sector, Pakistan Army violated ceasefire and resorted to unprovoked firing and shelling on Wednesday evening.
“Pak Army used both small arms and mortars to target the area and Indian Army is retaliating befittingly”, Army officials said.
