Dr. Prachi Sadhvi, the president of the Bhagwa Kranti Sena, a VHP leader, and an RSS member made a controversial speech on Sunday, accusing anyone who criticizes the film ‘Kashmir files’ of having a “jihadi mindset.”
She urged that the film be screened tax-free and even at institutions, arguing that it depicted Hindu Pandits in their natural habitat.
Several theatres in India witnessed a violent mood, where people resorted to sloganeering and speeches against Muslims.

In another instance, a man can be heard lashing out at the AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal after watching the movie.
In a fit of rage, the man claimed a man died a similar (like those portrayed in the movie) death during the North-East Delhi riots. He went on to call the movie “a message” rather than a mere film.
