Hezbollah has confirmed the killing of its leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah in Friday Israeli attack on Beirut.

One day after Israel’s airstrike targeted Hezbollah’s central headquarters in Beirut’s Dahiyeh district on Friday, the IDF had said that the strike lead to the death of Hezbollah chief, Syed Hassan Nasrallah.

The IDF also announced that the strikes by Israel killed Ali Karaki, the Hezbollah commander of the southern front, along with several other Hezbollah leaders.

“Almost 32 years after co-founding the Lebanese terrorist organization Hezbollah, its leader Hassan Nasrallah was killed, alongside Ali Karaki, Hezbollah’s commander of the southern front, as well as other Hezbollah commanders,” Jerusalem Post reported.

The recent attacks on Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and other groups backing Palestine are part of a broader effort to dismantle military support for the Palestinian cause.

Since October 2023, over 40,000 people have been killed, but Iran-backed militias, including Hezbollah, have continued their steadfast support for Palestine.

Israel has repeatedly warned Lebanon and other pro-Palestinian factions to cease their assistance or “face consequences,” intensifying tensions in the region.

Sayed Hassan Nasrallah was one of the most pivotal figures in rallying military support for Palestine, and his death signifies a significant blow to efforts aimed at uniting pro-Palestinian solidarity across Middle Eastern nations.

The death is being celebrated by Israelis throughout the globe. Muslims suporting ISIS and other terrorist organisations have also celebrated the death of Sayed Hassan
