
Union Home Minister Amit Shah has deputed a high-level team of top officials of the Home Ministry to Jammu Kashmir on a three-day visit starting today.
Reliable sources told news agency Kashmir Dot Com that the team will review security situation, developmental works, Prime Minister’s Development Package (PMDP) and issues pertaining to Kashmiri Pandit migrants, Pakistan occupied Jammu Kashmir (PoJK), West Pakistani refugees and displaced persons (DPs).
The team headed by Prashant Lokhande, Joint Secretary (Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh), Union Ministry of Home Affairs and other top officers will reach here today and will return on March 2.
The team will meet Lt Governor, Chief Secretary and other administrative Secretaries during visit besides Home Secretary and DGP, sources said, adding that, the Committee will provide feedback to the Union Home Minister on ground situation in J&K in terms of security , development and issues related to Kashmiri pandits.
