Hindutva outfit lays claim over Ajmer Shareef, says Dargah is a hindu temple

Rajvardhan Singh Parmar, the national president of Maharana Pratap Sena in Ajmer, Rajasthan, has asserted that the Ajmer Dargah is a sacred Hindu temple.

A letter has been addressed to CM Bhajan Lal Sharma regarding this matter. In the letter, Rajvardhan Singh Parmar, President of Maharana Pratap Sena, emphasized that their organization has long been advocating for an investigation into the Dargah located in Ajmer.

Parmar insisted that the said Dargah is a revered Hindu temple, not a Dargah.

Parmar highlighted that despite previous efforts, the Congress government did not take their concerns seriously, labeling it as anti-Hindu sentiment. He stressed that the people of Rajasthan are in support of this demand.

During the Jan Jagran Yatra across various districts of Rajasthan, Parmar noted widespread support for their cause.

Parmar urged for an investigation similar to those conducted for Ayodhya Babri and Gyanvapi in Varanasi. He submitted a memorandum to Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, requesting an investigation into the Ajmer Dargah by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI).

Parmar highlighted that their demand for a survey of the Dargah was also made during the previous Congress government, but no action was taken.

Earlier, before the BJP government, Parmar had written to former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, demanding a survey of the Dargah by the Archaeology Department. Parmar emphasized that historical evidence might reveal the existence of a Hindu temple at the site.

However, Parmar lamented the lack of action from the Congress government in Rajasthan regarding their complaints.

It is noteworthy that two weeks ago, BJP MP Ramcharan Bohra accused Ajmer of demolishing a Sanskrit school to construct a temporary shelter. Bohra expressed optimism about the revival of Sanskrit traditions in the area.
