The IGP Jammu Kashmir, informed via official Twitter handle of the Jammu Kashmir Police that the house owner who was injured during firing between the militants and the security forces has succumbed to his injuries.
The police informed that the militants have been “hiding on top floor of his building.”
The police also claimed that as per their source and digital evidence, the slain house owner had been working as militant associate.
The IGP Kashmir also informed that the search was still going on.
Earlier, the police had informed that 2 militants had been killed during the encounter that broke out between the militants and the security forces in Hyderpora area of Srinagar city.
