Addressing gatherings at Mandi Poonch, Dr. Farooq Abdullah said that dialogue with Pakistan is the only way to bring peace and resolve the Kashmir issue.
“Fight how many wars you want to, we have already fought four wars with Pakistan,” Said NC Chairman Dr. Farooq Abdullah, who is also Former CM and MP from Srinagar Constituency. Adding that “If there is a war now, there are atomic bombs on both sides,” indicates destruction.
He said, “Ab agar Jung aayegi toh atom bomb hai donu taraf se, Marenge hum hi.”
Former CM said, “When we talk, we are called Pakistani for long we have been called Pakistanis”.
He further said that when militancy started, Ministers and workers of the National Conference (NC) made sacrifices.
Dr. Farooq said, when the government abrogated Article 370 and 35A, they claimed that militancy and Anti National elements will end. “I want to ask Amit Shah Shb, is militancy over? No, but it has grown and I think now it’s difficult to eliminate it,” said Farooq Abdullah.
“Peace will not prevail here until you will do justice with the Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists, and Christians of the valley,” he further said.
