In the first of its kind, a private school in Anantnag town of south Kashmir organized an outing of grandparents of its students.

Speaking to The Kashmiriyat, the administrators of Eden Park School located in the KP road area of Anantnag district said that the school children were sent on the outing along with their grandparents with an aim to build a strong bond between the children and their grandparents.

“The main crux is to enhance a strong bond of children with their grandparents,” the school principal said.

He said that on the 8th of September, the grandmothers of the students were taken for a special outing by the Eden Park school, and on Saturday (today), the students were taken out with their grandfathers.

The event evoked a great response from the students, the school said, adding that, we expect that the such events will follow in the future too.

Parents of several students studying at the Eden Park School thanked the school management for organizing this unique event.
