In Srinagar, 1745 persons test positive for Covid-19; 4 Deaths in last 24 Hours in Jammu Kashmir

Jammu Kashmir reported a major spike as 5818 persons tested positive for covid-19 in the last 24 hours, while four deaths have been reported across the region, officials said on Wednesday.

1752 out of these cases fresh cases were reported from the Jammu division and 4066 from Kashmir, an official told The Kashmiriyat.

1255 patients recovered in Jammu Kashmir on Wednesday- 592 from Jammu Division and 663 from Kashmir Division.

Srinagar reported a massive spike as 1745 persons tested positive for Covid 19.

Giving district-wise details of the fresh cases, the officials said that Srinagar reported the highest 1745 cases, Baramulla 791, Budgam 594, Pulwama 230, Kupwara 93, Anantnag 217, Bandipora 130, Ganderbal 84, Kulgam 162, Shopian 20.

In Jammu division, Jammu district reported the highest with 1131 cases, while Kishtwar reported 5 cases.
