In Two Days, Kashmir University Loses Two Professors to Covid 19- Students Express Grief

Various students of Kashmir university have expressed heartfelt condolences as two professors of the university have died in the last 48 hours. The duo died of Covid 19.

An Assistant Professor of the Zoology Department at the University of Kashmir (KU) Dr. Mustahson Farooq Monday died of Covid-19.

Earlier on Sunday, Head of Department (HoD) of Department of Electronics at University of Kashmir, Professor Ghulam Mohiudin Bhat on Sunday died due to COVID-19.

Arif Ahmed, a student of Professor Ghulam Mohiuddin Bhat remembering him as a humble and gentle teacher said that he was always kind to the students. “All students are deeply grieved at his sad demise, it is almost unbelievable to come in terms with his death,” he told The Kashmiriyat.

While as Kashmiri journalist, Muzammil Jaleel took to his Facebook page and expressed grief over the demise of Professor Fazili and wrote, “There are so many memories.. a wonderful human being, polite, humble and handsome, always well dressed, a brilliant teacher. I recall watching him play cricket. This COVID is devastating us…each day arrives with bad news. May Allah have mercy on us.”
