Iran has retaliated attack on its embassy in Syria by launching a drone assault on Israel, as per Israeli media.

The deployment of these drones suggests a meticulously planned operation, as they would require several hours to traverse the considerable distance between the two nations.

Only Israel and America have so confirmed the attack, however, Iran has not issued any official statement.

This attack, not confirmed by Iran as of yet, comes in the wake of heightened tensions between Iran and Israel following the tragic killing of seven members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), including two high-ranking generals, in Damascus, Syria, just last week.

Pertinently the UN, US or the western allies of Israel did not condemn the attack, however, Russia and China said that the attack was a violation of international agreements.

Iran’s earlier threats of retaliation now appear to have been acted upon, signaling a dangerous escalation in the ongoing conflict between these two regional powers.

Earlier, “Cyber Avengers,” a group with ties to Iran, announced their responsibility for the recent power outages across Israel, hitting major urban centers such as Tel Aviv and Netanya.

They lambasted the Israeli officials for downplaying the events as mere technical mishaps, alleging a deeper loss of control over their electricity networks.

In a bold display of power, the group has issued a stern warning of further, more impactful cyber assaults targeting critical Israeli infrastructure.

Meanwhile, Iran, Israel and Jordan have ordered the closure of their airspace. Several nations have issued advisories to their citizens to not travel to Israel.

Amid the fear of an Iranian retaliation, the Prime Minister of Israel and his wife spent their weekend at a house cum military bunker, Israeli media reported.

In anticipation of the impending attack, Israel’s ordered the  suspension of school operations for the next two days.

Additionally, they issued directives for the dispersal of demonstrations advocating for the release of hostages still held in Gaza, a customary Saturday night activity in many parts of the nation.

Iranian forces, in the day, captured an Israeli vessel at the Persian gulf.
