One person has been killed while four injured after a snow avalanche hit Sondbrari area of Magam in Kokernag in South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) district on Thursday evening.
Police officials confirming the incident to The Kashmiriyat said that a snow avalanche hit the area on Thursday evening and a house has been completely buried under snow.

During the rescue operation, four members of the family were rescued while one dead body was recovered from the snow.
Sources confirmed to The Kashmiriyat that the residential house belonged to Bashir Ahmed Qureshi.
