As the second phase of the Jammu Kashmir Assembly Elections 2024 continues, the overall polling percentage across the constituencies stood at 46.12% by 3 PM.

Several constituencies with a predominant Scheduled Tribe (ST) population recorded high voter turnout. Gulabgarh (ST) led with 65.57%, followed by Poonch Haveli at 62.91%, Surankote (ST) at 62.95%, and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi at 64.26%. In contrast, urban constituencies like Habbakadal, Khanyar, and Channapora witnessed comparatively lower voter engagement, with polling percentages of 13.28%, 20.50%, and 22.20% respectively.
Notably, Budhal (ST) recorded 59.18%, Kangan (ST) saw 56.55%, and Rajouri (ST) reached 59.51%. The highest turnout among non-ST constituencies came from Nowshera, with 59.24%.
Meanwhile, Beerwah saw a voter turnout of 51.25%, while Ganderbal registered 44.41%. In Srinagar, central constituencies like Eidgah and Lal Chowk saw moderate turnouts of 29% and 24.22%, while Zadibal recorded 23.78%.
The elections continue to showcase varied political participation, with both rural and tribal regions displaying strong engagement.
