Protests have continued for the second consecutive day in Jammu against stranded Kashmir passengers for allegedly refusing to shout vande Mataram, India’s National song.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that hundreds of Jammu locals gathered outside commerce college where stranded Kashmiri passengers had been asked to gather for being airlifted.
However scores of locals including students gathered outside the venue shouting slogans against them.
The Police rushed to the venue and shifted the stranded Kashmir passengers to another venue safely, a Police official said.
The Passengers have been shifted to Eid Gah Jammu, which a muslim dominated area amid massive protests outside Commerce college and in Tawi area.
Pertinently the protest began on Monday when Kashmir passengers in Auqaf hostel were attacked with stones.

“Later, the students who thrashed us without a reason, held a protest accusing us of raising anti national slogans, which is totally baseless,” the eyewitness told The Kashmiriyat.
A Local told The Kashmiriyat that a Kashmir passenger on Friday refused to recite Vande Matram, which a National song of India.
Hundreds of Kashmiris are stranded as the Highway connecting Jammu with Srinagar has been blocked for the past six due to snowfall.
The incident after being reported by The Kashmiriyat evoked sharp response from all quarters of the society.
