Jammu Kashmir Police on Sunday recovered arms and ammunition from a vegetable shop at Sangrama area of Sopore in North Kashmir.
An official said, this development came after an OGW who was arrested days before at Bandipora area was being questioned, during questioning he revealed that arms and ammunition have been placed in Sopore area.
Upon which a team went there and recovered arms and ammunition, he said.
“Five grenades, 20 rounds and a pistol recovered from a shop in Sangrama Sopore”, he added.
Meanwhile an FIR has been registered in this regard at PS Argam in Bandipora and further investigation have been set into motion.
