Tarun Chug, BJP’s top leader said the Jammu Kashmir will go for assembly elections somewhere between April and May 2023.
BJP’s in-charge for Jammu Kashmir while addressing a party meeting in Jammu asked the party members to get proactive, talk to people and inform them about the achievements.
“We have only two-and-a-half months left,” Chug told BJP workers.
The BJP plans to fly top leaders including the president of the party, the prime minister, and the home minister to Jammu Kashmir in the next three months.
Jammu Kashmir has had no assembly since BJP withdrew support from its coalition partner PDP in June 2018.
