Kashmir Prisoners Will Talk to Family Members Through Video Conferencing

The State Prison Department has taken a unique initiative to prevent the spread of the global epidemic corona virus in the jails of Jammu Kashmir.

The jail department has started a video conference facility to get their prisoners in jail to talk to their housemates.

Like all over the country, Corona is spreading its foot in Jammu Kashmir and now the Jammu Jail Department has started a video conference service to prevent the epidemic from spreading to the prisoners and its staff.

Prisoners in jail are being met by their families from this service. This feature of video conferencing can be very helpful in preventing infection.

At present, this service has been started for the Kashmiri prisoners lodged in the jails of Jammu and the prisoners of Jammu in the jails of Kashmir.

According to the superintendent Mirza Salim Bag of the District Jail in Jammu, due to Corona, this facility of videoconferencing is proving to be very helpful.

According to him, with the commencement of this service, not only people coming from outside in the jail have been completely banned.

Due to which the risk of spreading of corona in the jail has been reduced, rather this facility has been closed due to corona.

Despite the traffic service, the jail inmates are talking to their families. For a fixed time, prisoners will be able to talk to the family through conferencing, according to the jail superintendent, the time and money saved by the introduction of this facility.

At the same time, in order to talk to the inmates of this facility, their family members have to contact the jail near their house.

After which they are connected to their family members at a fixed time by video conferencing.
