With no change in the night temperatures, Srinagar recorded the same mercury as the previous night at 0.8 degrees Celsius while Shopian and Pahalgam remained coldest as the temperatures dropped to minus 4.4 degrees.
According to Kashmir Weather, an independent weather monitoring website, the night temperatures in other parts of the Valley also settled below the freezing point with Qazigund registering the temperature at minus 2.0 degrees Celsius and Kupwara at minus 2.4 degrees Celsius.

Kokernag in South Kashmir recorded minus -1.0°C, Anantnag = -3.6°C, Baramulla = -1.3°C, Budgam = -2.3°C, Pampore = -3.6°C, Awantipora = -3.6°C, Srinagar Airport = -1.5°C Shopian = -4.4°C.
Nyoma was the coldest recorded place in Ladakh with the mercury settling at a low of minus 14.4°C degrees Celsius. Leh town recorded a low of minus 9 degrees Celsius – higher from the previous night’s minus 9.6 degrees Celsius.
