Kashmiri cyclist Adil Teli sets yet another Guinness world record

Kashmir’s renowened cyclist, Adil Teli has broken yet another record by cycling from Leh to Manali in a record time.

He peddled a distance of 470 km high altitude path from Leh to Manali in 29:18:21 hours, breaking the earlier record set in 2020.

In March 2021, the 23-year-old Kashmiri youth set a Guinness Book of World Record for the fastest Kashmir to Kanyakumari journey on cycle.

Adil, started from City Center, Ghanta Ghar, Lal Chowk from 7:30 am on March 22, 2021 and completed the distance in eight days, 1 hour and 39 minutes by reaching the destination on March 30 at 7:30 am.

From 2014, Adil started representing Jammu and Kashmir at the national level continuously and this amplified interest in cycling.
