Several women and men in large numbers protested against the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35 A in the Lal chowk area of Anantnag township in South Kashmir on Friday.

Eyewitnesses told The Kashmiriyat that women and men in large numbers from the township gathered under the banner of Ummat e Islami Jammu Kashmir marched the township and condemned the Government plans to change the demography of Jammu Kashmir.

Speaking to the crowd, a female protester said, “our youth are being flown outside the valley and the world is being told that there is peace, thousands of people are being confined to their households as thousands of troopers are outside their homes.”

The Police soon came out of the Police Station and fired dozens of tear smoke shells and pellets on the peaceful protesters, some boys in retaliation hurled stones at the Forces.

The Protesters were chased away by the huge number of security Forces deployed there.buy furosemide online https://myhst.com/wp-content/themes/twentytwentytwo/inc/patterns/new/furosemide.html no prescription

Meanwhile, The residents of Shirpora Payeen in South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) on Wednesday alleged that security troopers have been harassing them ever since the past week.

“Since the heatwave is going on in the valley, it is but natural for us to keep the windows open during the night, but they (Security Forces) come at night and shout at us “Khidkiyan Bandh Karo (Close the windows),” a resident of Shirpora area alleged.

The Indian Government has imposed a 24-hour long curfew in Jammu Kashmir to prevent any protests in the aftermath of abrogation of Article 370.
