Massive fire gutted nearly ten shops in north Kashmir’s Handwara town on Tuesday night.
Locals told The Kashmiriyat that fire that broke out from a shop around 1 am spread to nine adjoining structures within no time.
They said that Locals rushed to the spot to douse off the flames, after which Fire tenders and police also rushed to the spot.
The incident caused a massive damage to at least ten structures in the main town, Locals added.
The cause of the fire is not known yet.
