MBBS Student Misses Exam as Authorities Snap Internet for More than 33 Hours in Sopore

The authorities snapped internet services in North Kashmir’s Sopore area as a precautionary measure during an encounter that broke out between government forces and militants for more than 33 hours.

Local Medicine students of the area who are enrolled in Bangladesh and outside countries alleged that they miss term thirds exams which were held online mode.

Umer Farooq, an MBBS student who is studying in Bangladesh told The Kashmiriyat that he got frustrated since the internet was suspended in the area.

” I miss the important exam today, due to the internet suspension, ” he said.

While as authorities always put their version that the internet is being suspended keeping in view to stop any untoward incident during gunfights.

Meanwhile, the internet service was restored in the area after two days, but it’s pertinent to mention here many MBBS students miss the online exams amid in covid 19.
