Militancy, Hartals and Stone Pelting has not Takers in North Kashmir, Says Indian Army

According to a statement by Major General HS Sahi, GOC, Kilo Force (North Kashmir) there has been only a single case of local youth picking up guns in the region and he surrendered within five days.

He said that There has been a significant decline in the incidents of stone-pelting and youth picking up guns according to the Indian army.

In statement to ANI Major General HS Sahi was quoted as saying “The overall situation in north Kashmir is peaceful and stable. There are no takers for stone pelting, bandhs etc. The common man is very much for peace and stability in the valley,”
