The Jammu Kashmir Police on Monday afternoon claimed to have busted a Militant-funding module in the Jammu region.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a module of Laskar e Taiba Funding module was busted on Monday afternoon, when Police recovered a tiffin box with 1.5 Lakhs, one person was taken into detention, who was identified as Mubashir Ahmed Bhat.
Initial Inputs reveal that the money was being used by Haroon Khubaib of Laskar e Taiba for its members for carrying out Militant activities in J&K particularly in the Jammu region and in furtherance to this, a delivery of funds was to take place in Jammu.
A case has been registered in Peer Mitha Police Station under section 17, 18, 20, 21, 38 and 40 of UAP Act 1967 and further investigation of the case is going on to unearth it’s linkages, modus operandi.
