Panic gripped Khudwani area of Quimoh belt in South Kashmir’s Kulgam District on Tuesday evening when the sound of gunshots reverberated in the area.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that suspected Militants opened fire upon a camp of 1 RR of Indian Army in Khudwani area of Kulgam.
However, the army men deployed in the camp retaliated to the fire, however the attackers managed to successfully escape from the spot.
As per initial reports nobody was injured in the attack, a search operation has been launched in the area to nab the attackers.

Police officials however denied the reports of attack saying, “The reports are totally baseless.”
