Panic gripped Lurgam area of Tral belt in South Kashmir’s Pulwama District on Tuesday evening when the sound of gunshots reverberated in the area.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that suspected Militants opened fire upon a camp of 42 RR of Indian Army in Panzoo area of Tral.
However, the army men deployed in the camp retaliated to the fire, however the attackers managed to successfully escape from the spot.
As per initial reports nobody was injured in the attack, a search operation has been launched in the area to nab the attackers.
