Militants Attack Police Bus In Srinagar Outskirts; 3 dead

In the suspected militant attack that took place at Zewan Pantha Chowk, Srinagar, on Monday evening, three policemen have reportedly succumbed to their injuries.

It is pertinent to mention that on Monday evening, suspected militants attacked a police bus in the outskirts of central Kashmir’s Srinagar city. The attack took place at Zewan Pantha Chowk, Srinagar.

Sources say that as many as fourteen policemen were injured after the firing incident among which the condition of four is stated to be critical. The injured were shifted to a Srinagar hospital for further treatment.

The area has been cordoned off and a massive search operation has been launched to nab the attackers.
