Militants on Wednesday night appeared in Harwan Sopore, the native village of Liyakat Ahmed Lone and fired shots in the air to offer gun salute to their slain collegue.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a group of Militants appeared in the area shouting Pro Freedom slogans at his native area in North Kashmir’s Baramulla District.

They said that the Militants later offered Fateh Khawani to Liyakat after which they fired in the air as a mark of respect to their slain colleague.
Liyakat, the slain LeT militant was killed along with his associate in a gunfight at Galoora village of Handwara on Tuesday.
