
A 40-year-old man who went missing around seven days ago in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district was traced out by the police on Saturday.
Police officials told that the man identified as Mohammad Ashraf Bhat (40), a resident of Zangalpora, Kulgam went missing after leaving his home to purchase gold for his marriage.
They said that Bhat, an Electronic Engineer by profession, was found in Qazigund after the strenuous efforts of SHO Kulgam. “The operation to trace out the missing person was conducted under the supervision of Additional Headquarter Kulgam and other officials,” they added.
However, the man was later on handed over to his family members after the due procedure followed by the police
