Moon sighted in Jammu Kashmir, Ramadan to begin from tomorrow (April 03): Nasir-ul-Islam

The holy month of Ramadan will begin tomorrow on April 03 in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir as the moon has been sighted, announced J&K Grand Mufti on saturday evening.

Grand Mufti of Jammu and Kashmir, Nasir-ul-Islam said that moon sightings have been reported from various places of Jammu and Kashmir, We have received ample testimonies of moon sightings” he said, adding the first Taraweh will be offered today on April 02.

The moon marking the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan has been sighted. The holy month will begin from April 03, Sunday”, He said
