A woman died after she collapsed while singing in her son’s wedding in the Murran area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama’s district.
Locals told The Kashmiriyat that Haneefa Banoo, a resident of Pulwama’s Murran was singing on a standing mic on the Mehdiraat of her son, when she suddenly collapsed in the tent.
They said that the other women in the tent surprised at what was happening took it as a normal gesture, but when she did not get up for a few seconds, the locals rushed her to the nearby hospital where she was declared brought dead.
The incident has created a grief across Kashmir and a video from the incident has gone viral across social media.
