National Conference Women’s Wing Stages Protest Against Rising Prices

The women’s wing of the Jammu Kashmir National Conference on Monday organized a rally in Jammu to protest against the increase in the prices of essential commodities and the law and order situation in Jammu Kashmir.

Vimala Luthra, vice-president of the women’s wing and former MLA, organized a protest rally from the party headquarters to Mandir Chowk, located in the city’s Residency Road area.

The protesters participating in the rally displayed placards against inflation and raised anti-Bharatiya Janata Party slogans.

Referring to the killing of policemen by suspected Militants in Srinagar on Sunday, the National Conference leader said the law and order situation in Jammu Kashmir has deteriorated.
