The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) is working to finalize the curtailment schedule for the winter period in the Valley with officials saying that the plan will be out by Wednesday.
Sources within the KPDCL told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said that the corporation is set to finalize its power curtailment schedule for the winter period in Kashmir.
They said it would take one or two days more to complete the process, adding that the schedule would likely be ready by November 03 (Wednesday).
Chief Engineer, KPDCL, Aijaz Ahmad Dar told KNO that the fresh schedule is being finalized with less curtailments as compared to previous year. “We are working to ensure less curtailment this year,” he said.
However, he said that to ensure less power curtailment, the consumers across the Valley need to cooperate with them so that there is no overloading and power supplied accordingly.
He also confirmed that the new power schedule will be ready on Wednesday—(KNO)
