Anantnag: In a shocking incident, a newborn baby was found dead in the Larnoo area of Anantnag on Wednesday, an official probing the matter, told the Kashmiriyat.
An official said that a newborn female baby was found floating in a lake at Bidhard Larnoo.
Soon after receiving information from some locals, the body was fished out and taken to a nearby hospital (PHC Larnoo) by Larnoo police, where doctors declared her dead on arrival.
Meanwhile, police station Larnoo has taken cognizance of the incident and handed over the body to locals for last rights.
