The National Investigation Agency of India on Wednesday raided the house of active Jaish-e-Muhammad militants in southern Kashmir.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that the sleuths of NIA in the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday forces raided the house of Sajad Ahmed in Sangam’s Marhama area who is believed to have provided vehicle for the deadly Pulwama attack.
Sajad, however, went missing after the Pulwama attack and has joined Jaish e Muhammad.
They NIA also conducted nocturnal raids in Tral and raided the house of active Militant Mudasir Ahmed Khan and a local Suraj Malik, a resident of Midoora who is presently in police lockup over the allegations of being an Over Ground of Worker of Jaish.
The Investigating agency also conducted raids in Ratnipora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Earlier on Tuesday NIA raided the houses of Hurriyat leaders in Srinagar.
