The president of National Conference, Farooq Abdullah has yet again critisized the BJP Government in New Delhi in an exclusive interview with the Hindu and said that the revocation of the special status granted to Jammu Kashmir proves that the BJP Government does not believe in the Indian Constiution.
He said Mehbooba Mufti the former chief minister of the state, is under detention because she did not cooperate with the BJp Government on the revocation of the Articles 370 and 35A.
“The people governing Delhi believe in no Constitution,” he told the Hindu.

“I am sure one day if they have their way, they will throw the Constitution into [the] Ganga or Jamuna. There is every possibility. These fascists can do anything.”
Abdullah repeated that he blames Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the alienation saying that, “Nobody trusts New Delhi in Kashmir.”
Speaking on the Gupkar Declaration, Abdullah said all the parties who are a part of the formation will start campaigning soon and fight for the rights of the people.
