Unknown gunmen suspected to be militants shot dead a Non- local labourer in Sadunara area of Ajas in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Friday.
A police officer while confirming to KDC said that militants shot at a Non- local labourer from a very close range approximately at 0100 hours in the police jurisdiction of police post Ajas.
He was immediately shifted to hospital where doctors declared him brought dead, he said.
He has been identified as Mohammad Amrez Son of Mohammad Jaleel Resident of Besarh Bihar, the officer said adding that the deceased was staying in the house of Bilal Ahmad Dar.
Police have registered a case under relevant sections of law and further investigation has been set into motion.

The attack comes just a week after militants lobbed a grenade at migrant workers in southern Pulwama district, killing one and injuring two others. (KDC)
