A youth from Ganderbal died under mysterious circumstances in Chandigarh, Punjab, triggering panic among the family members.
An official confirming the incident to The Kashmiriyat said that a young boy, Salik Bhat, son of Naseer Ahmad Bhat, a resident of Bhatpora, Safapora was found unconscious at his hostel of a private university in Chandigarh.
After this, Naseer, who was pursuing B.Sc. in Nursing was rushed to the hospital, however, he was declared brought dead at the hospital.
The official confirmed that his family members received a call after which they have left for Chandigarh from the central Kashmir district.
“They will reach there by tomorrow morning and after completion of formalities the body will be handed over to the legal heirs for final rites” the official said.
The cause of the death is not known yet. Only after the completion of medico-legal formalities, the reason for the death can be ascertained.
