One militant has been killed during the encounter between militants and Government forces in Asthan Marg in Kausarnag area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam dstrict.
Official sources told The Kashmiriyat that on Thursday joint team of Indian Army, Jammu Kashmir Police and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in the area following specific information about the presence of militants in the area.
They said that militants fired upon forces which was retaliated, triggering an encounter during which one militant was killed.
