One Militant has been killed in the exchange of gunfire between militants and Government forces at Renzipora area in Awantipora belt of South Kashmir’s Pulwama District.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a team of 55 RR was fired upon by Militants in the Renzipora area, after which the Army retaliated to the firing.
The Forces retaliated and the exchange of fire continued for at least fifteen minutes, as per sources.
Officials told The Kashmiriyat that one Militant has been killed in the exchange of gunfire and others have likely escaped.
The Search operation is still going on in the area to find the remaining Militants, he said.
Locals told The Kashmiriyat that the firing started around 0800 am, however the exchange of fire has stopped now.
