A Power Development Department (PDD) employee died of electrocution in Shopian’s main town of South Kashmir.
An official told The Kashmiriyat that on PDD daily wagers identified as Sajad Ahmad Turray, who was a resident of Shopian received a high voltage jolt while repairing an electric wire in his native village.
Sajad was rushed to a nearby hospital from where the doctors referred him to DH Shopian, however, he succumbed on the way to the hospital.
