Taking a jib at the Prime Minister, the Jharkhand Chief Minister, Hemant Soren said ,“He only speaks his ‘Mann ki Baat’, he doesn’t listen,” after a phone call with him.
As per a report published on NDTV, Prime Minister Modi, on Friday, spoke to Chief Ministers of various states including Jharkhand, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and Telangana, which paved the way to a series of allegations and counters on Twitter.
Taking to Twitter, the Jharkhand Chief Minister tweeted, “Today, the respected Prime Minister called. He only spoke his “Mann Ki Baat”. It would have been better if he would have talked business and listened to the issues”.
“It is very serious and worrying that even at this time, the Prime Minister only wants to talk, not listen,” tweeted Congress leader Pawan Khera.
The comments evoked reactions from various BJP leaders.
According to the report, Mr Soren was ‘unhappy’ because he was not allowed to speak about his concerns and it was only the Prime Minister who talked.
